Who is Q?

Front-woman Quedi (Q) has been on the scene for a while with a few name changes.  Q Heartstrings, her last alias, saw her song ‘Heat’ win the ‘Australian Song-Writer of the Year Competition’ in 2015, the ‘International Song-Writer Competition’ Runner Up for ‘Push’, and a few other awards over 2015/16.

Once and now again a ‘Brissy’ girl, Q has bounced around Australia touring and exploring life in Indigenous communities in the desert.

“The Aboriginal people are the Australian people, and the Australian Government thinks the politicians are… I am here to shout my truth on how I see this community we have built, these walls they (Government) have built, and hopefully, wake some people with all my shouting"

“We believe no one should go without that which someone has.

We believe in every woman on Earth having the freedom to live her own way.
We believe you do too. We need Love, Water, Shelter, and Food for all.”

Q is a Singer/Songwriter from the Gold Coast, Australia.

Since the age of seven, she has been performing on stage and composing and recording her original songs.  Her experience in theatre saw her performing all over Australia in musical theatre, original music performance, children's stage shows, TV Shows, and a lot of writing scripts and even started a Youth theatre in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Since 2008 Q has been focusing on her original music and has performed as "Q the MOON", originally an all-female sassy four piece, in Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. "Q the MOON" released the albums "The Rising" and "Travelling Spirit" before changing to "Q".

Currently Q is working with Bignote Studio in Burleigh Heads on her next release.
